2017 Lexus IS Updates

The anticipation for the updated 2017 Lexus IS has only grown stronger with the recent release of pictures showing off the refreshed Lexus sedan.  With the 2017 Lexus IS due to arrive at North Park Lexus at Dominion this Fall, we wanted to share some of the details on what you can expect for the stylish new model.

Defy Moderation: 2017 IS

One feature that we are super excited about is the enhanced navigation and color multimedia display screen (see above).  The new, 2017 Lexus IS will come with a wide-screen, high-resolution 10.25-inch display.  Also updated for 2017 is the Remote Touch Device that helps operate the new system, giving drivers an enlarged kneed pad and slick detailing.  The 2017 IS will get a new cup holder design, new audio panel finish and an updated steering wheel switch design (complete with Lexus Safety System+ steering wheel buttons!).

For those who refuse to follow, the new 2017 IS will offer even more ways to lead with new standard features including Lexus Safety System+ and Scout GPS Link on models without Lexus Navigation.

Updated Remote Touch in 2017 Lexus IS

The 2017 Lexus IS will be available in new exterior colors including Caviar Mica and Nightfall Mica (for non-F SPORT models only).  You will also see different interior options with Chateau replacing Stratus Gray and the addition of Nuance Black.  Nuance Black is the first two-toned interior trim that is available on non-F SPORT models and is the perfect alternative for those wanting the F SPORT style without having to pay for the F SPORT performance extras.

At first glance, the 2017 Lexus IS looks almost the same as this year’s 2016 model, but after seeing the 2017 and 2016 IS side-by-side, the updated design reveals itself…

The 2017 Lexus IS has an elongated front grille design with additional chrome detailing and does not have fog lights.  You can compare the 2017 IS and the 2016 model in the pictures above. The 2017 IS will also have new available headlamps with LED lights being standard and new or updated wheel design options.
