How do I reset the "Maint Reqd" light?
Lexus takes us through the steps in resetting that Maintenance Required Light that pops up on the Instrument Panel.
Remember, this procedure should be used to reset the light when maintenance has been performed:
- Turn ignition switch to the ON position
- Set the Odometer/Trip Display to TRIP A mode
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position
- Depress and HOLD the Trip Meter RESET button while turning the ignition switch to the ON position.
- The Service Maintenance Reminder Light will
a. Illuminate solidly for 3 seconds
b. Blink for 2 seconds
c. Illuminate solidly for 1-second
d. Turn off
6. Release the Trip Meter RESET button.
7. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
8. Turn the ignition to the ON position, and confirm that the Service Maintenance Reminder Light goes out. NOTE: If the light continues blinking in step 5a, turn the ignition off, and repeat the procedure from step 1.

To reset maintenance light on 2013 Lexus 350rx put trip setting to A trip first then turn off ignition holding trip button down then turning ignition back on.holding down trip button until maintenance light resets. I did find reset procedure in owners manual

That’s why it’s tied into odometer!!
On 2004 is300 set on odometer while holding the button turn the ignition to on position you will see the numbers will turn ———- blinking and your service maint required will reset/turns off.
It didn’t work the way U said! So I just went to the odometer and hold it until the odometer stats flashing dashes then turn the key to off and wait for a minute and start my car and the main required light went off!
So it did work? Either way you got the light off? Sounds good!
