How Do You Want It: 2017 Lexus RX

The 2017 Lexus RX has lots to offer both new and returning Lexus owners, but how do you know which RX is the right one for you?  The new Lexus RX is available a few different ways and, with more standard features than ever before, the package options and upgraded features may lead you toward one model option when you really like the look of different RX model.  Let’s explore the most common ways that the 2017 Lexus RX is built for sale so you can then know exactly how you want your new Lexus RX350.

Before we dive into the different package options, you first need to know what comes standard.  The following features will be on every single RX, at the very least.  That means that even the most basic model will give you the following new features from Lexus…

  • Auto-dimming inside mirror

  • Electronic Parking Brake
  • Bi-LED headlamps, LED foglamps and daytime running lights (DRL)
  • Lexus Enform Safety Connect with complimentary first year subscription.

So every 2017 RX350 will have the above mentioned features, at the very least, and depending which package level you decide on, some of these features may be upgraded (for example, the Premium Package will give you Leather interior that’s available in Parchment/tan).  Lexus has decided to include a few more options for the “starting package” level built for sale in Texas and the entire Southern area.  This “basic” RX 350 typically lists for around $44K and is the common price point RX used in area lease and finance advertisements.  Here is what our “basic” package level RX350 looks like…

This basic/starting package level RX350 will have all of the standard features listed above in addition to the new Touch Free Rear Power Door, Tow Prep Package and a few accessories.  For the RX that lists for $44,949 (like the Atomic Silver RX above), you will get All Weather Mats and Accessory Package including Wheel Locks, Cargo Net and more.

The next package level up from this basic option will have the Premium Package.  The Premium Package gives you Rain-Sensing Wipers, Lexus Memory System for driver’s seat that saves outside mirrors and steering wheel, power-folding outside mirrors, rear armrest storage compartment, Leather interior and Wood Interior trim in either Espresso Walnut, Matte Bamboo (Parchment only) or Matte Linear Dark Mocha.  Check out one Premium Package RX350 available at North Park Lexus Dominion right here…

Our Premium Package that is available at Lexus Dominion will also include a few extra features including Heated and Cooled front seats, Touch-Free Power Rear Door, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Intuitive Parking Assist with braking as well as a Heated Wood Grain Steering Wheel.  The MSRP for this Premium RX is around $49K is pretty well equipped, as you can see.

Like the Premium RX but really want the new 12.3-inch high resolution multimedia display and Navigation System?  You’re in luck!  The Premium RX350 is available with the Navigation Package and will also typically give you an upgraded 20″ wheel along with it.  Check out one Premium Navigation RX350 here:

If you’re looking for a little more, then the RX350 Luxury Package may be the perfect package for you!  Step up to the Luxury RX350 and experience elegance at fever pitch with available features such as the Panorama Roof, dramatic triple beam LED lights, Gray Sapele wood with Aluminum trim, Semi-Aniline Leather and Heated Rear Seats with Rear Door Sunshades.  The Luxury RX350 will have the MSRP of around $59K and you can see one here…

Finally, for those that live on the razor’s edge.  Take a look at the 2017 RX350 F SPORT.  Charge forward with an Adaptive Variable Suspension, aggressive styling, performance-inspired instrumentation and F SPORT 20-inch alloy wheels with Dark Graphite finish.  The RX F SPORT is now available in either 2WD (front wheel drive) that lists for around $55K and is still available in AWD which lists for around $57-60K.  Take a look at both the FWD and AWD 2017 RX F SPORT here.
